Girl Power

This is a great website that I show the girls during our General- Girls Circle and Body Image Workshops. The website takes you through a process showing how the photo of the young model has been retouched several times. The objective of the website is to show how easy it is to alter a photo so it suits the beauty ideals of the media world. It shows quite simply that it’s impossible to compare ourselves to the “unreal” model on the cover. Check out the website by clicking here- Girl Power. Allow the website to load and then click on the area where it says “Unveil the fraud- click here”.
